Visit to Dreamland in Margate

Last Saturday The Big House went to Margate to visit the newly renovated and re-imagined amusement park Dreamland.

The sun shone for us and we spent the day on some truly terrifying rides, saw the high divers, rode on the bumper cars, had fish and chips and ice cream on the beach, and went to the Tate to see the Grayson Perry exhibition.

Huge thanks to Freya Elgood-Curtis from City of London School for Girls who raised £600 which covered the cost of the trip for 20 members of The Big House. Thanks to Michael Wiggs from CAMS agency and Charlotte Hatherly from SAGE who came along for the ride and thanks also to Dreamland for discounting tickets for our group – we had a absolute blast!
